DJI Mavic 4 Pro repair is new territory for most shops and familiar ground for ours — we stock used OEM Mavic 4 Pro motor arms and motors, including the right front arm that carries a sensing module. The Mavic 4 Pro’s 360-degree Infinity Gimbal has more range of motion than any previous DJI gimbal, which also gives a crash more ways to force it past its limits; its front arms double as sensor housings, so a single broken arm can take forward sensing with it; and at over a kilogram, hard landings crack landing gear and the lower shell. Each of these is a component-level repair we quote in writing after a free diagnosis, for owners who drop off in Cumming, GA or ship the aircraft from anywhere in the country.

What breaks on the DJI Mavic 4 Pro
- the 360° rotating gimbal has more range of motion and more ways to be forced past its limits in a crash
- a sensing module is built into the right front motor arm, so one broken arm can also take out forward sensing
- motor arms with motors are the most common crash part — we stock used OEM Mavic 4 Pro arms and motors
- heavy aircraft (over 1 kg): hard landings crack landing gear and the lower shell

Common faults and what they mean
- Gimbal & camera — “Gimbal motor overloaded” or “gimbal stuck” warning at power-on
- Crash & impact damage — cracked shell, snapped or loose arm, broken landing gear
- Water & liquid damage — aircraft went into water and will not power on
- Arms, motors & ESCs — “ESC error”, “motor blocked” or “motor stall” warning
- Battery & charging — battery will not charge or charges to a few LEDs then stops
- Remote controller — controller will not pair or keeps dropping the link
- Firmware & calibration — firmware update failed or the aircraft is stuck in a boot loop
What it costs and how long it takes
Diagnosis is free. We send a written, itemized quote before any work; no parts are ordered and nothing is opened until you approve it. Most repairs are priced flat-rate so the written quote is the full cost; complex board-level work may be quoted hourly, always before it starts.
Most common repairs are completed within days of quote approval, parts availability permitting. You get a timeline with your quote.
Every repair is covered by our 90-day limited repair warranty on the specific part and workmanship we repaired.
Repair or replace a DJI Mavic 4 Pro?
A Mavic 4 Pro is at the top of the consumer range and nothing we typically repair on it comes close to its replacement cost. Arm and motor replacements are modest; even gimbal work is a fraction of the aircraft’s value. The free diagnosis confirms the parts and the written quote confirms the price before any work starts.
Specs that matter for repair
- DJI Mavic 4 Pro (2025) — professional, 1063 g takeoff weight
- Camera: triple-camera Hasselblad gimbal with 360° rotation (Infinity Gimbal)
- Sensing: omnidirectional vision with forward-facing LiDAR; a radar module is built into a front motor arm
Mail it in or drop it off
- Mail-in from anywhere in the U.S. — request a quote, get your RMA number and shipping instructions, pack the aircraft with two inches of padding and the RMA number inside the box (packing checklist).
- Batteries: ship at or below 30% charge, ground only, no more than two spares, never a swollen or damaged pack — see the battery shipping guide.
- Local drop-off by appointment in Cumming, GA (north metro Atlanta) — see drop-off details.
Common questions
Do you have Mavic 4 Pro arms in stock?
Yes — bench-tested used OEM arms with motors, including the right front arm with its sensing module, are listed in our parts store, and we fit them on the bench.
My Mavic 4 Pro shows a sensing error after a front-arm crash. Is the arm the cause?
Very likely. The right front arm houses a sensing module, so arm damage and the sensing error are usually the same repair.
Can the Infinity Gimbal be repaired rather than replaced?
Often. Axis arms, motors and ribbons are repaired individually; the camera module is replaced only when it has tested faulty.
